The WhiteGoodsHouse

In the study for Recyclicity Feyenoord (a neighbourhood in Rotterdam) the WhiteGoodsHouse was developed in such a way that the materials which are wasted yearly in the Rotterdam area would be sufficient for 22 houses.
The main load bearing construction is made from discarded train tracks, the insulating layer from the sides of a refrigerator and on the north side complete fridges are used. The building is cladded with stainless steel sinks. In every place where it is desired washing machine doors are mounted in the washing basins. Due to the standard sizes these products of it is pretty simple to create construction boxes for houses like this.
