For the latest edition of the Robodock Festival (Amsterdam) we’ve created a lightweight wooden Fenix, made of a remaining lot of battens.
By sorting the battens in a clever way, we were able to build the open structure of the Fenix which is resistant to wind and it’s enormous wings of 9 mtrs.
Because there is no heavyweight construction the phoenix would burn easily and evenly. This dramatic effect was a benefit for the closing ceremony.
